This commercial shade canopy cools golf carts at University of California Irvine in Orange County, CA. It is 46’-6” Long, and the cantilevered beams are 18’ long. Each of the footings are 30” diameter x 10’ deep. Shade Comforts was the sole-source contractor responsible for its design, engineering, fabrication, and construction.
We previously shaded the bleachers at UCal Irvine’s Anteater Tennis Stadium and the top floor at UCal Irvine’s George Herbert Eye Institute.
