Shade canopies of tensioned fabric now cool kids, staff, and parents at Greendell & Hoover Elementary Schools in Palo Alto, CA.  Both schools belong to Palo Alto Unified School District in San Mateo County. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Two shade canopies are at Greendell and cover a playground structure and sand box.  They measure 30'x23' and 20'x20' respectively.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hoover's shade canopy measures 30'x20' and cools the faculty lunch patio.
